The purpose of an orientation dive is to introduce divers to diving in the Maldives. It also helps the instructors gauge the diver’s skill level allowing them to choose the most suitable dive sites for the diver. An orientation dive is mandatory for all certified divers.
The exceptions are dive professionals (dive master and above), divers with 100+ logged dives with recent dive experience.
This course is mandatory for all divers who haven’t been diving for six months or more. It refreshes your dive skills, checks how your buoyancy is, and do the proper weight trimming before heading out on the boat.
Guests are welcome to bring their own gear. Equipment Rental is available for those who arrived without their own equipment. The equipment will be charged on a daily basis.
Mask, fins, cylinder, and weight are all included.
All dives are subject to DAN short term insurance plans.

Choose between more than 18 dive sites around Sheraton Maldives including: Banana Reef , Back Faru, Fu- rana North, Kanduoh Giri, Maagiri Caves, Lankan Reef, Naseem Thila, Bandos Rock, Potato Thila, Okkobe Thila, HP Reef .
The dive package is designed for divers whose looking for adventure and explore the dive sites of North Male' atoll.
As an experienced diver by diving at night, you get encounter nocturnal creatures which come out at night such as feather stars, crustaceans, and many other various forms of life which you wouldn't normally see during the day
